When we brought home All Star Rambling Willie as a puppy, we had no idea how much our lives would change. What started as casual participation in Jack Russell Terrier Trials quickly turned into weekends spent traveling across several states, competing with some of the best dogs in the country.
Willie’s Story
From the beginning, Willie excelled in every class he entered. Whether it was Conformation, Go-to-Ground, Super Earth, or other events, he impressed with his speed and determination. These trials mimic real-life hunting situations, with tunnels, hay barns, and brush challenges designed to resemble the work of a terrier chasing groundhogs, rats, or other burrowing animals.
As Willie grew older, he continued competing against top Jack Russells from all over. After a bout of pancreatitis a few years ago, he was placed on a special diet. Around that time, my daughter suggested trying BEAM Minerals Canine Multi Minerals & Electrolytes to support his health.

Last year, we welcomed All Star Winchester 94 -“Windy” to our pack. Like her Uncle Willie; Windy quickly proved she had the heart of a champion. She’s been in the ribbons consistently and has already earned multiple championships in Conformation, Tunnels, Brush Hunt, Barn Hunt, and Scent & Locate.
Windy has a playful personality and loves to pester her Uncle Willie, but in the ring, she’s all business. We started her on BEAM Minerals at just 8 months old, and like Willie, her coat and hydration improved noticeably. Judges were even surprised at how fast she qualified for championship classes, something I truly believe BEAM Minerals supported.

The quantities of each element in BEAM Minerals products are measured in “parts per million” (ppm), rather than the “milligrams” (mg). Here is the information which usually helps to understand the difference:

In comparing our products to other supplements, people want to know how much of an electrolyte is in our products (like potassium, magnesium, sodium, calcium). Usually they are looking for an amount in milligrams (mg).
We have a hard time answering that question, because the electrolytes (and other elements) in BEAM Minerals products are measured in parts per million (ppm). So how can consumers compare?
The answer is a little complex, but here’s the high points.
The electrolytes in BEAM Minerals products are provided in “trace” amounts that are completely dissolved and thus 100% bio-available, immediately introduced into your circulation when you consumed them and will produce and active effect.
When you take a 320mg pill of magnesium, your body is only able utilize about 12-20% of it as it takes some time because your body has to digest it first. Whatever is not dissolved gets processed out of your body.
